However, even if the DNS query is sent to a DNS resolver other than the VPN provider, that does not necessarily mean a DNS leak has occurred. This is because the VPN\u2019s design and configuration differ depending on which DNS resolver is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To prevent DNS leaks, it is important to check the DNS protection features and settings of your VPN service and use a reliable DNS resolver if
